Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe – Chobe National Park, Botswana
After a delicious breakfast, you are taken across the border into Botswana and to Chobe National Park. Chobe Game Lodge is the only permanent lodge inside the park.
It sits on a hill and offers a fantastic view of the famous Chobe River. Once you have settled in a little, you can put together your programme for the next two days from the many activities on offer.
Chobe is also called the Land of Giants, because with over 40,000 elephants it is home to the largest elephant population in Africa.
In the dry season, these large herds, as well as buffalo and other herds of wildlife, gather in the fertile floodplains around the Chobe River to drink.
With the large number of prey animals, the predators follow too: crocodiles, lions, leopards and African wild dogs are regularly sighted.
You can explore the region by land and by water, on game drives in an open safari vehicle or on a solar-powered safari boat. Watch the animals drinking at the Chobe River and enjoy the breathtaking sunset with a gin & tonic in hand.
You stay overnight at Chobe Game Lodge.
Day 5-7Chobe National Park – Moremi Game Reserve

On a clear day, you have an endless view over the Chobe river plains, the Linyanti swamps and the Savuti part of Chobe National Park. Over the next three days, you can explore Moremi, where land and delta meet, on morning or afternoon game drives.
Watch a leopard lazing in the branches of a mopane tree, herds of elephants grazing beneath a green canopy or a pride of lions hiding in the long grass.
Another option is a boat safari on Xakanaxa Lagoon and the surrounding channels. The wide range of activities allows you to explore incredible landscapes, experience impressive wildlife and admire the dreamlike waters of the Okavango Delta.
You stay overnight at Camp Moremi.

For those who want to get a little closer to nature, guided bush walks are offered to some of the nearby islands, where you can watch some of the larger land animals that inhabit this watery wilderness.
