We would like to thank you most warmly for planning and organising our trip to Tanzania. We had an unforgettable and wonderful time and were able to experience so many impressive sights, special moments and wonderful encounters. The trip will stay in our memories for a long time!

Thank you too for your efforts and the correspondence with the hotel in Zanzibar regarding the problem with the insect spray and ants and the room change, as well as for sorting out the goodwill gesture.

Despite this incident, we would definitely recommend the hotel. It was beautiful, and we got to know lovely people there who enriched our stay even further.

We would also like to give a very special thank you to our guide Ndelilio. He made our safari an absolutely unforgettable experience! With his manner, his knowledge and his enthusiasm, he brought the fascinating wildlife and the beauty of Tanzania to life for us in a very special way. He really does a great job and played a big part in making this trip so unique for us.

We look back on our time together with great gratitude and many lovely memories, and will definitely keep Tanzania in fond memory.

Warm regards and thank you once again!

We had a very lovely wildlife safari in Tanzania. The travel time was well chosen again, the start of the rainy season and the end of the safari season. As a result there were also far fewer tourists than in the high season.

A buffalo in the Serengeti taking a mud bath.

The huge herds of wildebeest and zebras in the Serengeti impressed us greatly. But elephants, giraffes, antelopes, lions and leopard were also lovely to see. The six of us travellers were a very good group, everyone was there for each other and everyone enjoyed this trip.

We would especially like to thank the travel expert Britta Franke of Elefant-Tours.de, who booked the lodges individually for us and fulfilled all our wishes. We can very much recommend Elefant-Tours.de for safari trips to southern and eastern Africa.

Having already travelled Namibia a few years ago and been fascinated by the desert – that trip, too, was excellently organised by Elefant Tours – we now wanted to see lots of animals. So: Tanzania! And we made the right choice.

A big thank you to Britta Franke, who advised us excellently and provided us with very good travel documents. Great care on the ground from Tanzania Experience!

Our guide Lazaro, tour guide and excellent driver with eagle eyes showed us the beauties of Tarangire National Park, the Serengeti and my personal highlight, Ngorongoro Crater – simply dreamy. Of course we saw all of the Big Five and many more animals in unimaginably large numbers. Giraffes have become my favourite animals, so elegant and majestic.

The night in the tented lodge in the Serengeti was incomparable. And Lazaro showed us how friendly and open the Tanzanians are; we felt welcome.

Afterwards we were in Zanzibar at Michamvi Sunset Bay, a small oasis in the tropics, truly made for relaxing. Successful all round! Thank you very much, it was my dream holiday.

The trip was perfect from start to finish and could not have been better. Ms Schwab always replied quite quickly and accommodated all our wishes.

Emmanuel, our guide, was superb. We immediately felt very safe and perfectly looked after. We would book a tour with him again at any time.

The hotel in Zanzibar was perfect and all the staff were super friendly and obliging. We would go back there at any time. Only the Maasai on the beach were at times very pushy.

We decided on the spot to book half board after all and did not regret it. The food was very tasty.

On our fourth Africa trip too, we again relied on the excellent advice and care from Elefant-Tours and are once more totally thrilled.

A cheetah in the Serengeti.

This time we chose a “Best of Tanzania” private safari followed by a beach stay in Zanzibar.

Zebras in Tanzania

Our trip began in Arusha with a night at Lake Duluti.
From there our excellent guide Albert took us to Tarangire National Park (two days), the incredible Serengeti (three days) and Ngorongoro Crater.

An elephant in the Serengeti.

On this safari too we were once again fascinated by the huge number of animals and their diversity. The landscape, the people and life in Tanzania impressed us just as much, as it differs from Namibia and South Africa.

A leopard in a tree in Tarangire National Park.

Afterwards we had five beach days in Zanzibar and let ourselves be pampered at Michamvi Sunset Bay.

We say a very big thank you, especially to Britta Franke in Cape Town, for the excellent advice, the care and the flexibility with the bookings, and to everyone on the Elefant-Tours team who made the trip possible for us at such short notice.

A traditional boat in Zanzibar on the Indian Ocean.

The preparation of the travel documents, the flights, the accommodation and the safari with Albert from Tanzania Experience were once again outstanding.

Many thanks too for organising the special offers such as a visit to a coffee and spice plantation or the walking tour of Stone Town.

We will always remember Tanzania!
It was simply a dream!

Thank you and until next time.

At first we were sceptical about travelling in an organised way, being long-time independent overlanders, but it was unique: ANIMALS, landscape, people, lodges … top!

Lion cub on a gravel road.

Expensive, yes, but worth every cent! Outstanding planning including adaptation to our special wishes by Nadja Krone, and the very best implementation in the local conditions by the subsidiary, represented by Luca and Andrew.

And in particular the considerate, attentive and experienced guide and driver Gasto, who confidently steered us more than 1,300 km through partly adventurous terrain.

A lilac-breasted roller in Tanzania.

While our tours on the continent had so far been marked by rather modest wildlife sightings, in Tanzania this picture changes. We see all the Big 5 in a short space of time. With the lions in the Serengeti we lose count, more than 50 animals pass us, often within touching distance. And then the cheetah with her almost newborn cubs … Unique! Again and again!

The holy mountain of the Maasai, Ol Doinyo Lengai.

Those responsible should definitely invest more in the rare picnic sites, especially the toilet facilities, the latter are in places awful!

Hello dear Ms Krone,

as promised, I am getting in touch after our trip. To keep it short, you did not promise too much.

It was BEAUTIFUL. Everything worked wonderfully, we were very well looked after from the 1st to the last day and were warmly welcomed in every camp and lodge.

On two days we were able to experience the “great migration” . Simply an incredible spectacle of nature!

With Nelson as our travel companion and driver we were enormously lucky. Now we are back home and think back with a smile on our faces about the wonderful days in Tanzania.

Fantastic private safari through north-eastern Tanzania

Quite spontaneously, we decided in March to go on a safari with a private guide in Tanzania and then relax for a few days in Zanzibar.

Despite the short-notice planning, Mr Schuff organised a wonderful trip through various national parks and Ngorongoro Crater. We booked the flights to and from Germany ourselves and, sure enough, our luggage was left behind at the connection in Addis Ababa.

The helpful staff of Elefant-Tours' subsidiary, Tanzania Experience, made sure it was delivered to us promptly. Everything on this trip worked perfectly: the pick-up service, both at Kilimanjaro Airport and in Zanzibar, the safari itself and the flight to Zanzibar.

An impala with an oxpecker on its neck.

We liked the accommodation chosen very much. For us the tented lodges in the middle of the national parks (Tarangire and Serengeti) were a particular highlight. At night you could hear the lions, buffalo and elephants especially clearly, and we marvelled at the various animal tracks we could see in the camps in the morning.

Tanzania's wildlife delighted us again and again. Here we would also like to especially thank our private guide Jackson, who accompanied us reliably for eight days, drove safely over the sometimes very rough roads, made many wildlife sightings possible and shared his great knowledge of Tanzania, its flora and fauna with us. Thanks to him, too, the trip became something very special.

The safari took us to Arusha National Park (we particularly liked the guided bush walk here and would do more of that in future), to the enormously diverse Tarangire National Park with its large elephant population (great, Tarangire View Camp with its especially friendly and helpful staff) and to Serengeti National Park. Here we could only marvel at the huge herds of wildebeest and zebras, the many hippos and all the other animals.

Only the tour of the coffee plantation after the national parks did not quite thrill us, which was certainly also due to the not-too-inspired guide. This tour might have been more interesting for us at harvest time.

A colobus monkey on safari in Tanzania.

In hindsight we would have preferred another game drive to the coffee plantation, but as we heard, other trips have had different experiences.

A great finale was the game drive into Ngorongoro Crater – again lots of animals against an impressive backdrop.
Because of the muggy heat in Zanzibar we held back on activities there and only joined a tour of a spice farm and Stone Town on one day. Both recommendable in our opinion.

The unforgettable high point of the entire trip, however, was clearly the many encounters with Tanzania's incredible wildlife.

From 14.02.25 – 20.02.25 we went on a camping safari with you and then spent a week on Zanzibar.

The impressions during the safari were overwhelming – the wildlife viewing and the feeling of being close to the African continent in a tent.

We feel a particular need to give our tour guide, driver and the cook on the safari great praise and a big compliment!

Our driver / tour guide Abraham and Elias the cook were always very helpful, attentive, friendly, polite and obliging. Abraham has excellent knowledge of the area and subject matter, organised everything well, and pointed out all the sights that would have escaped our attention without him, giving us the relevant explanations. Elias always looked after us superbly with his cooking.

The interpersonal atmosphere during the tour was exceptionally harmonious.

In particular, we greatly appreciate how the two gentlemen handled my disability (I, Gerd, am blind)! The necessary assistance, unobtrusive support and matter-of-fact way of dealing with the disability command our great respect!

Overall, we can say that this trip exceeded our expectations and went to our complete satisfaction! We can absolutely recommend the organisers of this trip!

We ask you to pass on our thanks to Abraham and Elias once more!

Kind regards

Martina and Gerd

Our trip through Tanzania was simply unforgettable! We started in Tarangire National Park, where we experienced breathtaking wildlife. The safari then took us to Serengeti National Park and on to the Ngorongoro Crater, a true wonder of nature. The crater floor nature reserve gave us the chance to see lions, rhinos, wildebeest and zebras in their natural surroundings – a real highlight!

I can only recommend the travel agency, especially Ms Franke, most warmly! From the first contact to the last minute of our trip, everything was perfectly organised. The guides were very competent and friendly and led us through the parks with great knowledge and enthusiasm. Every stop on the trip was perfectly prepared and we felt completely at ease. Particularly worth highlighting is the high-quality accommodation, which was both authentic and comfortable.

Dear travel agency,
thank you so much for this fantastic trip through Tanzania! Everything was perfectly organised, and it was an unforgettable experience to enjoy nature and animals in such a unique way. Every moment, from Tarangire to the Serengeti, was simply magical. We will definitely be back!

Good day Mr Schuff,

We thank you for very good trip organisation (tips and advice) and congratulate you on your choice of partner "Foxes Safari Camps", whose staff made our time in the dreamlike camps and on the game drives as lovely as could be.

During our stays we were mostly the only guests or among the few guests at the accommodation. You can certainly imagine that the staff could take a lot of time for us and also spoiled us culinary-wise. On the drives through the parks we really saw lots of animals. Everything simply fitted.

The journey by light aircraft was an experience too and of course shortened the transfers considerably. The highlight was the stay at the Manta Resort on Pemba. Simply sensational, as we had not expected so much luxury.

We naturally recommended you straight away, and if I am correctly informed, you are organising the trip to Tanzania for our son and family next year. They are already looking forward to it like crazy (as Berliners say)!!

We wish you continued success as well as new ideas for relaxed trips and many satisfied guests

This was our twelfth and LAST East Africa trip, because I think there is nothing left to top here.

Entry at the arrival visa counter with only 20 people was faster than with the approx. 120 people at the 2 "normal" e-visa counters. I recommend everyone fill in the embassy's pre-printed form at home. Great.

The transfer and the safari were carried out by Tanzania-Experience in a friendly and very reliable manner.

I would like to single out our driver Daniel in particular. Very good German and professional driving and tour-guiding skills set him apart. If you are only in the Serengeti for one day and then get to see the "Big Five", that naturally makes an impression. In short: it was our fifth and best safari.

The one-week stay at the Arusha Villa was exactly what we wanted. Lovely rooms, friendly staff, great food (even after a week). Every day we travelled around the surrounding villages either by dala-dala or by motorbike and enjoyed being able to experience the work and life of the local population. The organised driver to the Arusha Local Market was almost too touristy for us, but still nice. We did not miss Zanzibar in the slightest.

All in all it was one of the loveliest holidays we have ever had, and I would therefore like to thank you once again most warmly for the recommendations and organisation. Should we still decide on a trip to Victoria Falls, there is only one place to go: ELEFANT-TOURS

With resounding greetings

Dear Mr Schuff,

yes, we are back home safe and rested, full of wonderful experiences and memories! Everything worked perfectly, a uniquely beautiful and exciting time lies behind us. You are welcome to post our feedback, which we have already published on Trip Advisor, on your homepage.

Our unique safari experience with Tanzania-Experience, booked through Elefant-Tours, became a perfect African treat thanks to our brilliant, best-in-the-world English-speaking guide Jackson and the cook Gerald, who conjured up incredible feasts!

Camping safari Tanzania travel report 2024: the Jenne family

We spent 6 days on a camping safari from Arusha and beforehand had a wonderful introductory day with Daniel in Arusha National Park, including an exciting walking safari.

Then we set off with Jackson and Gerald to Tarangire NP, which we can recommend as a perfect starter park. At the little-frequented campsite we felt very safe thanks to a watchful ranger. On our game drives we were surrounded several times by masses of elephants. We were able to watch zebras, buffalo, wildebeest, gazelles, warthogs, two cheetahs and lions, hyenas, jackals, ostriches, meerkats and many bird species!

Then it was on to the Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti, where everywhere we had an extremely large number of wildlife sightings, and from a distance a rhino and a leopard too. Heaps of hippos and crocodiles….

Mr Schuff of Elefant-Tours put the trip together perfectly for us and picked out a wonderfully quiet little hotel complex on Zanzibar for relaxing afterwards, the Ujamaa Beach Resort. Thank you for everything!

And with our guide Jackson we share a real friendship, grown over cosy evenings playing cards. He is as reserved as he is attentive and sensitive, a very friendly person and a careful driver whom you gladly entrust yourself to! He is also very experienced and has an incredibly good nose for finding animals, we always had a perfect view of all the animals!

Camping in the wilderness is of course somewhat adventurous, you have to know that, but you are rewarded with unique experiences, a breathtaking soundscape, fantastic-tasting dishes and great up-close African experiences. Some guests may prefer the comfort of a lodge and don't know what they are missing.

Gerald is a master chef and spoiled us so much! With his camping stove and on the open fire he conjured up three-course menus. For the lunch boxes and breakfast he got up at 3 am to bake bread rolls and pancakes.

Thank you for everything,

The Jenne family from Stuttgart

I had the pleasure of taking part in a safari in Tanzania with Elefant-Tours, and I can only say that it was an unforgettable experience! Our guide Witson was simply fantastic. He is not only an extremely reliable guide and an excellent driver, but also brings admirable knowledge of the animals.

During the safari we learned so much about the country, the people, the culture and of course the animals. Witson's many years of experience as a guide are clearly noticeable – he really knows his stuff! It was particularly impressive that he was willing to take quieter routes when we wished, which made the experience even more enjoyable.

I can only recommend Witson and Elefant-Tours most warmly! If you are planning a safari, you are in exactly the right place here!

More than 30 years ago we went on a safari together in northern Tanzania. We wanted to experience that again. Mr Schuff competently worked out our wishes and ideas and took care of all the bookings.

In November we spent 3 weeks in this beautiful country and experienced great warmth and friendliness from the population. The first two days in Arusha. We attended a church service, which is celebrated passionately and enthusiastically. Full of awe, we listened to the magical voices of the mixed choir. A real uplift!

On a coffee tour and a walk around the farm and the hamlet, we gained a deeper insight into a farmer's everyday life. A delicious meal together with the very nice family rounded off this wonderful Sunday.

After that we were on safari for 19 days with Faraja. An excellent driver and experienced guide. Thanks to him we saw much that was beautiful and interesting and experienced many an exciting moment.
Here are some highlights. In Tarangire NP, the close encounter with elephants was a profound experience. We stood amid about 50 animals, old and young right down to babies. Eye contact with these gentle giants struck us right in the heart. Slowly the animals dispersed, each family going its own way.

Three elephants

Also in Tarangire NP we were allowed to witness an annually recurring wonder. On the day of arrival the baobab trees were bare, as they are usually known. When we left the park after 5 days, delicate green adorned these imposing trees. A feast for the eyes!

Baobab trees

In the Ndutu Conservation Area we were surprised by many thousands of wildebeest, accompanied by many zebras. As the short rains had begun early and heavily, the migration was already in full swing. The Serengeti too was deep green earlier than expected. The grazing animals could eat their fill to their hearts' content.
To our great delight, the fascinating birdlife was extremely numerous throughout our safari. From the elegant crowned crane to the sweet blue waxbill. The highlight was when Faraja spotted a pair of peach-faced lovebirds. They were not bothered by us, preened their feathers, chatted and cuddled. They did full justice to their name, "the inseparables". A most adorable spectacle.

Peach-faced lovebirds

These 3 weeks were a richly fulfilling break for us. As we stayed 5 days each at the most beautiful places, we had plenty of time for watching, photographing and relaxing too. The holiday feeling came fully into its own. We warmly thank everyone who contributed to the top success: Mr Schuff for the well-informed advice and reliable reservations. The staff at the camps and lodges for the warm care and tireless work. And our friend Faraja, who was there for us at all times.

Asante sana, Tanzania!

Hello Mr Schuff,

our holiday was amazing. Everything worked superbly, was brilliantly organised and was definitely worth it. On our trip we travelled through different climate zones (Arusha, Ngorongoro, Serengeti) and a great variety of accommodation types (bungalow & tent), which we loved.

Elephants on safari in Tanzania

Our guide Daniel was great. He always took plenty of time, told us and explained a lot and knew his way around perfectly.

We saw an extremely large number of animals, including the Big 5.

Herd of animals on the steppe

We also liked the accommodation very much. The food was always delicious and there was something for everyone. In the evening the rooms were always prepared against mosquitoes. We had no problems here. There was also free Wi-Fi at every accommodation. During the safaris you occasionally had the chance to use free Wi-Fi at the park entrances or picnic sites.

We were also very lucky with the weather. It rarely rained during the day, but that didn't affect us any further. The safari was perfect and exciting from A to Z.

On Zanzibar we also had a great hotel. We can definitely recommend it. The only thing that slightly annoyed us were the locals who wanted to sell something or offer tours. We were constantly approached while walking on the beach. The people did tend to wake up towards the afternoon, though; before that you mostly had peace and quiet. Anyone who enjoys the sea will get their money's worth in the north-west near Nungwi. With the low tide we were able to take long beach walks on the lively beaches. Unfortunately we didn't see the empty, long stretches of sandy beach, as these are probably more in the south-east. We have put them on our to-do list for another visit to Zanzibar, should we ever come to Zanzibar again.

On the journey back we had Mohamed as our driver, whom we were asked to send you our warmest greetings from. With him we had a fun morning drive back to the airport and thus a great end to the holiday!

Lions mating

We would recommend the same tour at the same travel times to anyone and would like to thank you most warmly for the great experience.

We will gladly come back to you for our next Africa trip!

Best wishes, Mona Kristen and Maximilian Giese

We were very satisfied with the information before the trip, the booking process and the organisation by Mr Brand. Our guide, Mdallilio, calm, nice, friendly, helpful and very considerate, a good driver, also solved problems that arose (broken spring – no wonder on those roads!) together with the workshop team of the company "Tanzania-Experience" in no time under adverse circumstances (tropical rain), so that we could drive the last part of the trip in "our" jeep too. The trip itself was wonderful.

Safari Tanzania - Hippo

We saw many more animals than expected and could enjoy the landscape, even though the short rains began earlier than expected. The accommodation and meals were very good. Accommodation clean and comfortable. The staff nice, helpful and friendly. Itinerary well chosen.

The coffee tour at the last accommodation was informative, and presented very vividly and well by Patrick. Transfers worked well despite a delay on arrival. Our group fitted together well, we got on well.

We would repeat the trip any time and can recommend it.

This impressive "Best of Tanzania Safari & Zanzibar" will stay in my memory forever. Mr Schuff organised everything perfectly for me. Accommodation, catering as well as the delicious meals and transport were exemplary.

Guest Ferdinand Schneider with guide Lazaro

A big compliment too to our very friendly guide Lazaro, who with his knowledge brought his homeland Tanzania a good deal closer to us. Lazaro also proved himself as a "car mechanic" when our Toyota Land Cruiser broke down between the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater with a wheel suspension defect and he then repaired it.

Leopard in a tree

After the safari we went from Arusha to Zanzibar in the azure, sparkling Indian Ocean. The beautiful palm-lined beaches invited relaxation.

I was also fascinated by Stone Town with its many picturesque alleys. This combination of safari and beach / culture – holiday on Zanzibar – I can only recommend.

We experienced one of our best holidays and can only agree with the previous commenters. All pick-ups ran like clockwork, the choice of accommodation was excellent, the food very wholesome and tasty. During the safari it was my birthday in the Serengeti at the tented camp, and I was surprised with a birthday cake and a serenade from the kitchen and service staff.

Zebra on safari in Tanzania

We could never have imagined experiencing the wildlife so close, and our German-speaking guide Terry was extremely obliging and helpful.

Swimming on Zanzibar

On Zanzibar the tides (low tide) invited us at midday to a walk far out into the sea, and in the afternoon (high tide) to swim in crystal-clear warm water. Our accommodation in the bungalow with sleeping area, reading couch and upper floor for relaxing offered a special luxury. We were treated very warmly and politely by all the staff at all the accommodation.

Sunset Stone Town

In Stone Town we likewise enjoyed a German-language guided tour and visited the bustling market and the winding little alleys. An unforgettable experience, with thanks to Mr Schuff for the competent advice, information and tips, as well as to the whole Elefant-Tours team.

My husband, my daughter and I spent four days in August on a private safari in Tarangire National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater through Elefant-Tours, followed by a stay on Zanzibar. It was a sensational trip that we will never forget. For us it was the second booking through Elefant-Tours, and as on our last trip, we were once again super satisfied with the organisation.

Mr Schuff responded competently and in a friendly manner to all our wishes, all special requirements were taken into account and we were always very well informed. On site all processes ran smoothly throughout and our accommodation was very well chosen.

In summary, this trip was a unique experience..

We had a wonderfully beautiful holiday in Tanzania with our children, aged 14 and 17. The combination of a week-long private safari on the mainland and a week of beach holiday on Zanzibar was perfect for us. The trip was put together for us by Elefant-Tours according to our wishes and everything really ran smoothly. We felt at home straight away and were fascinated by the beautiful nature and wildlife that Tanzania has to offer!

A heartfelt thank you for the preparation and planning goes to our adviser at Elefant-Tours, Mr Stephan Schuff, who was always able to answer all our questions. He has often been to Tanzania and Zanzibar himself, which brings unbeatable expertise.

Hippo with open mouth

We were always met on time on site. We were also thrilled with the accommodation and catering chosen by Elefant-Tours. All lodges clean, well kept and extremely charming. The two nights at the tented camp in the Serengeti in particular were a unique experience! The people on site were all very friendly and helpful! We felt especially well looked after by our driver Rashid, who accompanied us on the safari! You noticed his many years of experience straight away and thanks to him we were able to see all the animals (incl. the "Big Five"). He gladly shared his expertise with our children, who had many questions. He was a safe driver with eagle eyes when it came to spotting animals!

Elephant in the savannah travel report private safari Tanzania

On Zanzibar we spent one night in Stone Town and the remaining five nights at Jambiani Beach. This beach resort was also a suggestion from Mr Schuff of Elefant-Tours. We were thrilled with the choice, as everything is still very unspoilt, really just a village with a long dream beach on the Indian Ocean. No large hotel complexes, but small, charming accommodation and restaurants. The extremely strong tides made the experience even more interesting, as at low tide you could walk kilometres out into the sea and splash in the waves during high tide.

Curious giraffes on the steppe

We have now been back in Germany for a week and are still completely enraptured by our experiences! We will certainly never forget this extraordinary family holiday in this special country!

Erik was an excellent tour guide during our 7-day safari in Tanzania. Thanks to his experience as a former lorry driver, he manoeuvred us extremely skilfully and safely along the at times very bumpy gravel roads. We (a group of five adults) always felt comfortable and safe during the drives with him.

Spotting animals in the terrain, even while driving, is one of his most remarkable abilities. Even at speeds of up to 50 km/h, Erik could make out a lion in the steppe grass at a distance of 200 metres. His attention to detail and his trained eye allowed us to experience the wildlife up close and observe it undisturbed.

Erik is not only an excellent driver and animal spotter, but also a very knowledgeable and reliable tour guide, who also looked ahead to our wellbeing. He conveyed a great deal of interesting information about the various animal species, their behaviour and their habitats impressively. His great passion for nature and wildlife was clearly noticeable and rubbed off on all of us.

In addition, Erik was a very friendly and polite guide. He answered all our questions in detail and with patience, with great expertise. He very flexibly adapted the route to our wishes and needs so that we could experience as much as possible.

In summary, Erik was an outstanding tour guide who made our trip to Tanzania an unforgettable experience. His experience as a driver, his ability to spot animals and his extensive knowledge of the wildlife contributed to our being able to fully enjoy the beauty and diversity of nature in Tanzania.

We can warmly recommend Erik as a tour guide and are very grateful to him for his outstanding work.

Many thanks for putting this trip together, which was organised perfectly according to our wishes. We enjoyed every single day very much!

After our arrival we had a lovely day in Nairobi and then explored Tsavo West, Amboseli and Masai Mara with our guide Simon. Simon was simply great, it was so much fun exploring the parks with him, training our "bush eyes" and listening to his exciting explanations and thus developing a feel for nature and the animals.

Elephant in Kenya

We were overwhelmed by the varied landscapes and the animals. We saw so many animals and were so close. We were very lucky and spotted the Big Five quickly and much more, including wild dogs. It was hard to say goodbye to Simon at Isebania on the border with Tanzania. Unforgettable: Tsavo West: at night the giraffe and the zebras right next to the tent, the crocodile sneaking up to the waterhole 20 m away…. or the monkeys in our room in Amboseli because we had forgotten to close the window properly (but they were quite well behaved and were only interested in the sugar sachets), the lions in the Masai Mara that walked past right in front of and behind our car – at first we thought it was a few adult lions – and then lots of little ones followed out of the tall grass…

Tsavo National Park

With our guide Alpha we then continued to Lake Victoria, the Serengeti and Ngorongoro, all the way to Arusha. Different again and very impressive again. Really fascinating right at the start was the canoe trip to the fishing village on Lake Victoria, where we thought it would be "one of those tourist tours". We can only hope it never becomes one, because it was so impressive to be able to experience this simple village with all the warmth of the villagers and above all the many children around us.

Sunset Lake Victoria

With Alpha we again had a wonderful guide who showed us the vastness of the Serengeti with the big herds of animals – wildebeest crossing the track and it simply never stopped, crocodiles lurking on the bank, many grunting hippos in a hippo pool, vultures and hyenas with prey, a cheetah leaping onto our car … and the impressive Ngorongoro Crater.

The last week on Zanzibar was then another different experience; at first we caught a bit of the rainy season, but that didn't bother us. We explored the whole island on our own, the lovely beaches, sandbanks and turquoise water, and Stone Town at the end of the trip was another highlight. The friendliness and openness of the people impressed us greatly.

The five of us saw all the animals there are to see, besides the "obvious ones" also two servals and dik-diks; consistently perfect game drives.
Personally, though, I would also have liked to walk a few kilometres on foot. Our advice from Benjamin Brand was very good. Already for his patient handling of various special requests 🙂 and for his attempt to keep us reasonably informed about the development of the enforced stay in Mombasa, which unfortunately only succeeded with a delay for lack of a usable internet connection. Overall perfect advice.

Giraffe with calf

Our guide Emanuel "Manu" in Kenya deserves 10 out of 10 possible points: friendly, humorous, competent, helpful, dedicated in searching for animals, best knowledge of fauna and flora, simply perfect. Witson in Tanzania was somewhat more distant, but did warm up and gets 9 out of 10 possible points.

Herd of elephants at Tarangire

The accommodation was consistently what you wish for in Africa. Where somewhat less luxury was offered (as at the smaller ones such as Mara Base Camp and Mara Siria Tented Camp), this was made up for, especially at Mara Siria, by the warm friendliness of the staff (and at Siria also by the fantastic view) and the family atmosphere.

Hyenas on the steppe

The routing had a bit of everything. On this occasion I would like to recommend a balloon flight over the Serengeti, not cheap, but worth its price, a special experience. And I have rarely had such a good breakfast in such a wonderful setting as after the landing. And hardly anyone enjoys their job as much as Capt. Barry Birch.

Hello Mr Schuff,

we are back in Germany in the best of health and well rested. The trip was incredibly beautiful.

1. We managed to climb Kilimanjaro. Just as you said, keep going. And thanks to our great guide team, Brighton, Elisa and Robert, as well as the lovely crew, we felt very well looked after and cared for, like part of a family. Many thanks once again to the whole team, we have taken the lads to our hearts.

2. The safaris in the endlessly vast national parks, with an abundance of animals, were breathtaking. Our guide Terry showed us the many animals with talent, confidence and calm, and told us a great deal about their habitat and behaviour. He is a wonderful person and enriched our safari.

3. The Mwezi Boutique Hotel in Zanzibar was an absolutely outstanding recommendation, which we really enjoyed as the finale of our trip. A dreamy hotel with such friendly and lovable staff.

Everyone looked after our enjoyment and well-being in a truly professional way, and we would especially like to mention our pool barman Mo, who took touching care of us and all the guests, and our very attentive and lovable dinner waitress and barmaid Jackline.

We would like to do something good for all the people mentioned with our feedback, and we hope that you, Mr Schuff, can pass this feedback on to the right people so that it reaches these lovely individuals. We hope this lets us tell them that they are doing a great job in Tanzania/Zanzibar, which truly deserves appreciation.

With best wishes from Bavaria

Dear Mr Schuff,

The one-week safari “Best of Tanzania” we booked, from 14 to 21 January, was absolutely brilliant!

The whole group, from young to old, was thrilled with the magnificent nature, the four beautiful parks we visited, the lodges including good meals, the very knowledgeable guide & driver and, of course, the fantastic wildlife!

In the Serengeti especially, we were able to marvel at tens of thousands! of wildebeest and zebras in huge herds (out of roughly 2 million! animals in total). We saw all of the “Big Five” relatively close up, including all the other wild animals such as crocodiles, hippos, ostriches, giraffes, antelopes, cheetahs, hyenas, gazelles, vultures, eagles etc. Unbelievable – you really can’t believe it until you’ve seen it with your own eyes!!!

At the end of our week together, the guide therefore received a considerably higher “tip” from us than the one suggested by Elefant-Tours and Tanzania-Experience….

From A to Z everything went perfectly and I couldn’t suggest anything that you, Tanzania-Experience or the guide could have planned, organised or carried out better!! THANK YOU!!!

With warm regards,

Thomas Chasse, 75; from 🇨🇭
(called Babu Tom by everyone in Tanzania 😉)

Tailor-made trip for 4 people, 4 to 24 October 2022
We were treated to an extraordinary trip. 1 week of safari in Kenya and another week in Tanzania became an unforgettable experience. Everything was superbly organised, the accommodation excellent. The nature with its inhabitants and unique experiences cannot be topped.

Ostriches mating

Lions urinating while lying down, ostriches mating, a lioness fighting with a leopard and, last of all, the lion roaring at night in front of the insect screen of our tented camp made the experience unforgettable.

Anne KrügerOctober 26, 2022 · Tansania

A wonderful experience. In such a short time you are offered an incredible bouquet of scenic diversity, a catwalk of wildlife and the most direct encounter with the atmosphere of Tanzania. One thing first: I am not a camping person. I can’t even remember when I last slept in a tent.

At the same time, the tented safari is, for me, the best way, because it is the most direct, to experience nature, animals and atmosphere up close in Tanzania’s various national parks. After an exciting day of “game driving”, as the drive through the wildlife is called, always searching for the “Big Five”, the feeling of freedom does not end at the door of the hotel room. The light, the sounds, the scent, the whole mood remain close at hand, over a dinner that the cook who travels with you conjures up with simple means. The night spent in the immediate vicinity of zebras and antelopes was unforgettable – completely safe.

The seven-day safari is a flood of images, the impressions come thick and fast, there is something new to discover at every moment, as you climb up to the lookout of the jeep when the driver has once again spotted a pride of lions or a leopard mother with her cubs out of nowhere. And is that a python coiled up in the tree over there? It would have gone unnoticed by me; untrained eyes don’t see it, but the experienced driver does.

Savouring the endless expanse of the Serengeti savannah, wellness for the eyes. Mist pouring over the Ngorongoro Crater. The campsites were impeccable, with everything you need. A very special feeling of freedom in a well-organised, protected atmosphere.

You can read a detailed account of the tented safari in Tanzania here on Anne Krüger’s travel blog.

Dear Mr Schuff,

our trip has sadly come to an end, we have landed safely and I would like to thank you and your team on behalf of the whole group. Everything worked out perfectly and we had a wonderful time and great experiences.

Inge Dännart and group with the safari crew

The visit to the Helpers of Mary was a lovely and moving start. Thank you again for making this visit possible for us.

Elefant-Tours once again gave its all. We really saw everything, and not through binoculars but up close in dreamlike landscapes – very touching.

Our guide and driver, Rashid, was a wonderful soul with eagle eyes. We felt safe and comfortable with him.

All the accommodation, whether lodge or tent, was good, and the service team always super friendly and attentive, but we especially want to highlight Kirimu Camp. Beautiful, tasteful and generously furnished tents with many practical details and an unobstructed view into the Serengeti. The team was absolutely top, cheerful and warm, and the food was top, a highlight.

Group photo at Kirimu Camp

Overall, the provision of vegetarian and vegan food also worked well; even the surprise lunch boxes were stocked accordingly.

The visit to the coffee plantation near Endoro Lodge was also special for us, as the contact with this nice couple felt like visiting friends, and making our own coffee was a great idea.

Coffee tour

The three days in Zanzibar at Mwezi Resort were also a gift, right by the sea, on the beach, with a cheerful crew, a farewell evening with buffet and show programme, no wishes were left unfulfilled.

There was a great atmosphere in our group every day, because everything was simply so harmonious.

Our conclusion: if it’s Africa again – then only with Elefant-Tours.

Warm regards

What should I write?
The whole thing was a dream 🙂

It started with the consultation – after 5 minutes Mr Schuff knew exactly what we wanted and put together a trip for us that fitted our needs precisely.

Water buffalo

The support before departure was spot on. 5 days before departure we received another email pointing out that a small component of the trip was no longer what it used to be – an alternative was offered and we even had an amount credited immediately.

Lion cubs

And then the trip – unique. Our guide David responded fully to our needs and we did day trips of up to 10/11 hours. That suited us absolutely fine, as it let us enjoy and photograph this trip in all its splendour.

Caracal

If it’s Tanzania again, then only with Elefant-Tours and its excellent team on the ground.

Thank you

Dear Elefant-Tours team, hello Mr Schuff,

now that we have come back from our Africa trip last week, we would like to give you some brief feedback.

Everything worked wonderfully: we were already awaited at Kilimanjaro Airport and the transfer to Meru View Lodge went perfectly. We liked the lodge exceptionally well!!! We were also able to leave a suitcase there in the meantime.

Curious lion

The tour through the various national parks was beautiful.

We would like to give special praise to our driver Daniel, who made unforgettable wildlife viewing possible for us.

Leopard with prey in a tree

He was also always a very considerate driver, and we felt very safe throughout the whole tour!!!

He was always there to help with advice and action, was always friendly and obliging, and always found solutions to our extra requests!!!

We also do not want to leave our cook Peter unmentioned. He spoiled us culinarily too.

We would also like to mention that, despite occasional rain, the tents were always clean inside when we arrived at the campsite in the evening.

You have provided us with a really great team on the ground!!!!

Sunset in Tanzania

We will gladly recommend you further among our friends and acquaintances!! This also applies to our friends, the Beyerle family.

A big compliment to Mr Schuff for the organisation and the perfect individual advice for our family set-up with 2 boys (12 & 10 years old), and to our guide Silayo, who showed us the world of Africa with very personal care and in good German!

Overall, the trip was worth every euro! Of course, in some cases you would wish that some of the investment could reach the land and its people more, and go towards future-oriented improvements.

On the safari we had a mix of lodges and tented camps. On the next safari we would go even more for the camp option. Simply Africa and pure nature, and an unbeatable soundscape at night.

We have stayed in many hotels, but the Mwezi Boutique Hotel is right up there at the top! A very well-kept property, a great location on Zanzibar, very good food, a personal and sustainable design and furnishing, and so on and so on… But above all it is the personal (almost family-like) care from the very first minute that makes it so dreamy!

P.S. Very cool bars and restaurants on the beach to recommend!

Dear Ms Harter,
thank you very much for the great advice ahead of our trip to Tanzania.
The safari as well as our beach holiday on Zanzibar were perfectly organised from start to finish,
compliments from us. It could not have been done better.

Hippo in a waterhole

Our guide Lazaru was an absolute stroke of luck. With him we were able to experience unforgettable moments. He gave us a deep insight into the fascinating flora and fauna of Tanzania as well as the way of life of the people, especially the Maasai.

Buffalo close-up

He drove us unerringly along the gravel tracks to the most interesting spots and amazed us again and again with his incredible knowledge. Lazaru could practically sense the animals, and especially the Big 5.

Lions feeding

The choice of lodges was great. Every evening the anticipation was high for what awaited us.
The accommodation in the middle of the steppe was simply fantastic. Experiences you should have once in your life.

Giraffe at dusk

With our hotel on Zanzibar, the Mwezi, we experienced the crowning finale.
Impressive bungalows, delicious food and super attentive and friendly staff.

Evening sun in Tanzania

Finally, we would like to thank once again everyone who made an unforgettable holiday possible for us. Lazarus, a very special thank-you to you. The week with you will remain unforgettable for us.
We were allowed to experience the fascination of Africa and are already looking forward to the next trip with Elefant-Tours.

We are all back safe and sound from Tanzania and Zanzibar, and everyday life already has us firmly in its grip again, with a temperature difference of 30°C ………..

The anticipation of the trip lasted a full 2 years because of the well-known circumstances, and found new nourishment again and again through the email exchange with you and thanks to the great travel documents. And so our expectations of our trip were huge. But we are delighted to announce that the long wait was worth it. As professional as your preparation was, the whole trip went just as brilliantly and smoothly. I really could not have imagined so much punctuality and smooth running on the African continent.

Young lion on safari

It is incredibly hard to pick out one biggest highlight – rather, the whole trip was a highlight. Being able to experience so many animals, and above all so close up, in Tarangire, the Serengeti and Ngorongoro exceeded our wildest expectations. Getting even the “Big Five” in front of our lens was then really the icing on the cake. We were also surprised by the accommodation, both the lodges and the tented camps. Everything was always perfectly prepared and very clean. The evening welcome was always extremely friendly and the food tasted excellent everywhere.

Hippo in Tanzania

Our tour guide Silayo Setas also deserves great praise. With his astonishing command of German, he passed on a lot of information about the animals, the plant life and the different landscapes very well and in an easily understandable way. Thanks to his extremely anticipatory and defensive driving style, we always felt safe and well looked after in the vehicle.

Zebras

One thing has also become clear to us now – a safari like this makes you tired. The constant rattling and shaking on the bumpy roads and the constant lookout for animals is tiring, and all the more you look forward to a few quiet days on a beautiful beach on Zanzibar.

Thank you for organising this great trip. I wish you and the whole Elefant-Tours team all the best and above all good health.

What a beautiful, extraordinary trip! We had booked a 10-day safari, 5 days in Kenya and 5 days in Tanzania. It started in Nairobi on 26 September and the safari ended in Arusha on 5 October. Because of the border crossing we had two guides – one for each country, for legal reasons.

Zebras Masai Mara

Both spoke very good German. Emmanuel started with us in Nairobi. With his passion and his knowledge he gave us a great time. We learned so much fantastic information about animals, plants and the country, and he patiently answered all our curious questions 😉

Leopard in a tree Kenya Tanzania trip

The entry process at the border was quite simple, as we had been able to prepare most of it online. Here our guide Daniel took over and gave us a wonderful insight into Tanzania.

Our favourite place on this tour was the Masai Mara. Thank you for the fantastic organisation and for letting us feel so at home! For one of us it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. For the other, the trip sparked great curiosity about the other countries of Africa.

Once again we booked an unforgettable, adventurous and at the same time relaxing holiday with Elefant-Tours.
Our trip started in Tanzania. This time we aimed high and climbed Mt Kilimanjaro via the Machame Route.
They were very impressive, beautiful and of course strenuous days 😅 that we will never forget.

Kilimanjaro Machame Route

After the climb we went on to Zanzibar. We stayed at “The Loop” hotel on the east coast. The beach is simply incredibly beautiful and we really enjoyed our time there.

Zanzibar Jambiani

The planning beforehand and the holiday in Africa went superbly. Despite Covid, everything went smoothly and we always had a good feeling.
A heartfelt thank-you goes to Elefant-Tours, in particular to Ms Brode.
We are already looking forward to the next trip with Elefant-Tours!

With my family, eight of us, I was on safari in Tanzania in the second half of October 2020. I was asked about the biggest highlight of the trip. That question cannot be answered, because our safari did not have one biggest highlight: every day had its big and bigger surprises, almost every hour brought its big and small joys. The eight days of our safari consisted of a chain of highlights. With their knowledge and skill and with a lot of heart, our two guides, Silayo and Alpha, showed us the beauties of their country; we are grateful to them for that.

The Spicher family in Tanzania

On Facebook there are many photos of the “Big Five”, no more are needed. On the drive through the Serengeti my son suddenly called out: “There was something red at the roadside!” Silayo, quite astonished: “Something red?” Despite his scepticism, he put the vehicle into reverse and drove back. The result? A small but very great highlight of the Serengeti: under a bush a red ball was blooming, the only red-flowering flower we saw in the Serengeti.

African blood lily

We left our worries about Covid-19 behind at home. In the Tanzanian lodges the necessary measures against the virus are taken. And in any case: everything is outdoors and there is plenty of space, nobody comes too close to anyone! Anyone who wants to avoid infection should go on safari in Tanzania!

The basis of this super safari was the good organisation by Elefant-Tours: everything worked out perfectly. Mr Schuff, with a great deal of patience and with our well-being and advantage in mind, got the very best out of the trip for us. Many thanks for that!

Dear Mr Krüger,

a little late but nonetheless from the heart, we want to thank you for the good care of our trip to Kilimanjaro. Apart from the return flight, everything went superbly. Meru View Lodge can only be recommended. It is really great. We felt thoroughly at home. Your local partner (Tanzania Experience) was also perfectly organised. The guides and drivers were really great. They fed us so much information that we are still digesting it. We really liked the safari. We felt safe at every point and found the way we interacted very pleasant. A big thank-you here to the staff of the company and of the national park.
On the mountain tour too we were really lucky with the group and the weather. On the approach to Lemosho Gate, Max showed his full skill. Incredible, getting up there with the bus and the jeep.
The group around the guides Filbert and Hudson really grew on our hearts. We very much hope that they will all be spared by Covid. What impressed me particularly was that the standard of mountain tours has changed completely in 28 years.

Uhuru Peak

A check of pulse and blood oxygen level every morning and evening, a truly considerate operation geared to the health of the travellers and team members, and very good food – that was not the case in the past. I am thrilled.

Dining table on Kilimanjaro

The way nature is treated has also changed very positively (we took our rubbish back down with us – unfortunately not all groups do this). I enjoyed every minute of the way and am especially grateful to Filbert for the lots of information on flora, fauna and geology and for his patience.

A Kilimanjaro group

In any case, in summary: we can only continue to recommend you and Tanzania Experience!
That the journey home went somewhat off course is down only to Covid and KLM (we had not booked the flight through you). In the end we are glad to have got home safely and grateful for the experiences we had.

With best wishes from Berlin

Hello Mr Schuff,

I want to thank you for the fantastic Tanzania trip. It was a holiday that deeply impressed all of us and that we will draw on for a long time.

Happy Kilimanjaro group

Everything worked very well from the start. The drivers took us to the lodge, where we were welcomed very warmly and where, after settling into our rooms, we were even served a soup. From the drivers we already knew that our briefing for the Kilimanjaro climb would be at 12 o’clock the next day. And so we could plan an excursion to Arusha for the afternoon.

The briefing was very thorough and informative; even our complete equipment was checked so that we would not be caught out on the mountain by missing gear.

The Kilimanjaro climb was a strenuous and impressive experience. The guides led us very well and informed us every evening about the plan for the next day. The cook made a three-course menu every evening, which is truly an achievement under the conditions. And what the porters achieve is hard to describe in words. The likes of us struggle with our day pack of about 6 kg; the porters carry surely 20 kg up the mountain, and faster than we do. The best investment, though, that we made, or rather that was included for us because of the private tour, was the private toilet. There are moments on the mountain when you are very glad not to have to run through the whole tent camp only to squat over a hole in the ground.

The route we chose was very beautiful scenically, just as described, although we would have found it better if the last stage before the summit climb had not been so strenuous, so that you have enough strength for the summit. A night at Karanga Camp would certainly improve the summit chances considerably. The last ascent to Barafu Camp is once again a tough one and so we arrived at base camp relatively exhausted. After dinner we packed our rucksacks for the summit push and withdrew quickly to our tents to get as much rest as possible, which was only partly possible given the storm. Of the eight of us, unfortunately only three people made it to Uhuru Peak, but we all came back down healthy, which is the most important thing. For the three summiteers, however, the subsequent descent to Mweka Camp was incredibly strenuous. They too would certainly have benefited from an additional night at Karanga Camp. All in all, though, the Kilimanjaro climb was a formative experience for everyone.

We spent the next day at the beautiful lodge. From the drivers who picked us up at the gate we knew that the safari briefing would be at 16:30, so we could enjoy the pool in a relaxed way all day and process the impressions we had experienced.

Camping safari Tanzania

The safari was overwhelming, so many free-living animals living relatively peacefully side by side. In the Ngorongoro Crater you could of course see that very well, and it impressed us enormously. Our guides were able to show us so many animals and also had lots of information ready on every animal. Big compliment. But they not only knew about the animals, they also handled the jeeps very well and showed great driving skill. The camp in Tarangire National Park surprised us with its facilities: for each sex, two relatively generous sanitary blocks, each with two toilets, showers and washbasins, kept clean by the national park employees. Apart from us, only four other people were staying there overnight, so the hot water for showering was enough too. After the camp in Tarangire National Park, we were very disappointed by the camp at Ngorongoro Crater. The camp was visited by several groups and there was only one cramped sanitary block each for men and women, with three showers, toilets and washbasins. It was only very inadequately clean, though, so that you didn’t really want to wash there. However, the water supply was very good and if you ignored the state of the “shower cubicles”, the shower was refreshing. So there is still room for improvement in the sanitary facilities at this camp, as regards cleanliness and layout.

Elephant sighting on a camping safari

The option of spending the few hours after the safari and before the flight at the lodge once more is ideal. The lodge is a lovely base and saying goodbye to Hellmut, Josephine and Margret was hard. We felt really very much at home there.

Everyone we dealt with during the Kilimanjaro climb and the safari – drivers, guides, waiters, porters – was extremely nice and gave us information and answered our questions. That too impressed me.

The shortcomings mentioned above could not spoil our holiday and in retrospect it is certainly the beautiful things that will be remembered, but for you it is certainly useful information on how to make the holiday even better for other guests.

In any case, I say thank you once again.

We have booked an Africa trip with Elefant-Tours for the second time. This time Tanzania/Zanzibar!

The care from Elefant-Tours is uniquely good. Already beforehand, during planning, we were extremely well informed and our wishes were implemented immediately. The respective contacts are superbly well informed about the destination and always keep you up to date!

Leopard with prey

We had an unforgettably beautiful holiday! The 5-day safari with our guide Amani and another couple in our vehicle was wonderfully beautiful! We have been on safari several times. But this tour even surpassed everything we had seen so far.

The accommodation was really lovely, the staff friendly and the service great. Among other places, we spent two nights at Kati Kati Tented Camp in the Serengeti. A real adventure for us Europeans….. but highly recommended!

Cheetah lying in wait

Our hotel at Jambiani Beach on Zanzibar was also exactly what we had imagined! Pure relaxation, rounded off by a tour to Stone Town and a spice farm.

So, we would travel with Elefant-Tours again and again!

Many thanks for the lovely time!

I wanted to give you brief feedback on our trip to Tanzania booked with you, which is sadly already over again.
I really cannot describe how wonderful and impressive this trip was for us.
First of all I must say that everything was perfectly organised and there were no problems at all. So here too, a heartfelt thank-you to you for the great advice, planning and booking.

Our guide Alpha was also great. We could not have found a better guide and we all took him to our hearts.
For my whole family, but especially for me, this trip will be remembered forever. The wonderful landscape, the great wildlife, the people…it all impressed us and we enjoyed every minute.
Sometimes there is a risk that, when you have a big dream, reality falls short of the idea, but in this case my expectations were even exceeded. The safari was simply indescribably beautiful.

Dear Elefant team,

many thanks for the good advice and planning of our Tanzania trip in January 2019.

As a family we did a 9-day safari, visiting Tarangire and Lake Manyara national parks, the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater.

Two lions in the Serengeti

Our guide David was simply super, responded to our wishes, and as a result we had unexpected and spectacular experiences. So no wishes were left unfulfilled: 2 hunting prides of lions, two cheetahs on the hunt, leopards with prey, fighting giraffe bulls and fighting elephants. Golden jackals with super cute pups, a female cheetah with three cubs. We also had a lot of joy watching a serval, small foxes, or a large group of mongooses.

Two elephants in Tanzania

David explained everything to us superbly and also drew our attention to many small animals. In his care we always felt very safe and looked after.

View into the Ngorongoro Crater

We felt especially at home at Kati Kati Camp (where we had the tastiest food of our trip), at Burunge Tented Camp and at Ngorongoro Coffee Farm.

Everywhere we were welcomed very attentively and with great

hospitality.

We already did a fly-in safari in Botswana with Elefant Tours in 2016, and our next Africa trip will certainly be booked through this agency again.

Many thanks again from Frankfurt

Yes, it is very good. Yes, we had wonderful experiences and impressive wildlife sightings, and met extremely friendly people and enjoyed beautiful days.

Kati Kati tented camp

The KatiKati tented camp was great, and here we felt as if we were in the film Out of Africa.
The Zanzibar holiday that followed at the Fruit & Spice Wellness Resort fitted seamlessly into this enthusiasm.

Fruit & Spice Wellness Resort

Friendly staff, good food, and a wonderful resort and accommodation made it hard to say goodbye.

Many thanks to the Elefant team and especially to Mr Vonderstraß for the excellent advice and organisation. Thanks also to Tanzania-Experience and to our guide and friend Oscar, who greatly enriched the safari with his excellent knowledge and keen powers of observation.

We will be back – and again with Elefant-Tours!

Dear Mr Schuff,

we would like to thank you once again for the very good organisation of our trip to Tanzania/Zanzibar!

We had a wonderful time and came back with many new impressions. We felt very well looked after in the tents at the National Camps and thoroughly enjoyed the safari. Our special thanks go to our driver Max, whose incredible knowledge of Tanzania's wildlife and plants and his thoroughly pleasant manner made our safari what it will remain for us – an unforgettable experience.

The hotel on Zanzibar, "Kisiwa on the beach", can also only be recommended. Thanks to the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff and the wonderful facilities, we had a very pleasant and relaxing stay there.

Kind regards from Siegburg,

Gunda Lambrecht
