Nairobi – Masai Mara Game Reserve
We meet you in Nairobi for a short briefing on your Masai Mara safari before you set off in your Toyota Land Cruiser 4x4. You leave the lively capital behind and head towards the Masai Mara. The view over the sweeping Great Rift Valley is a foretaste of the vast landscapes of the Masai Mara. You reach the Mara in the early afternoon and set off on your first game drive through this truly breathtaking part of the world. The Masai Mara is a symbol of safari adventure in East Africa: you spend the next few days looking out for lions, elephants, buffalo and many other animals.
Day 2-3Masai Mara Game Reserve

Masai Mara Game Reserve
In the bush, days begin early in the morning. But you will soon forget the early hour when you wake up in your spacious safari tent under tall trees, with birds chirping all around you and a day full of exciting discoveries ahead of you. You take a picnic lunch with you and can enjoy and explore the Masai Mara at your leisure from morning to evening on these two days. You have plenty of time to drive to different corners of the game reserve and, together with your guide, study the animals' behaviour. During the Great Migration, when hundreds of thousands of wildebeest and zebras move from the Serengeti into the Masai Mara, you may be lucky enough to witness a river crossing of the herds at the Mara River. A breathtaking highlight of a Masai Mara safari! But whatever time of year you visit the Mara, many different animal species live here all year round. Cheetahs, hyenas and antelopes roam the savannah, while leopards hide in the thicket of the trees and hippos and crocodiles lie in the water. Look forward to experiences among Kenya's wild animals that will stay with you for a long time.

Masai Mara region – Nairobi
You will be surprised how many different animals you have seen and how much interesting knowledge you have already gained from your guide. By this fourth day of your safari you are already an expert, and it is now time to leave the bush behind and return to the city. Since wildlife pays no attention to borders, you have the chance to see animals once more as you leave the Masai Mara region and before you join the tarmac road to Nairobi. Here we take you to your hotel or the airport and say goodbye.
Breakfast | Lunch
We would be happy to put together an individual extension programme to follow your Masai Mara safari, tailored specifically to your wishes. Go on another exciting safari or relax on the white sandy beaches of the Indian Ocean before flying back to Europe.
