Nairobi – Ol Pejeta Conservancy
Transfer by light aircraft
With a warm smile, your transfer driver meets you in the morning at your hotel in Nairobi and takes you to Wilson Airport. And just like that, your fly-in safari in Kenya begins.
A short flight to the Nanyuki or Komok airstrip awaits you. If the weather plays along, you can admire Mt. Kenya from the air as it rises imposingly out of the landscape.
On the way to your accommodation you will quickly notice that your fly-in safari has already begun – keep an eye out for wildlife and enjoy your first animal encounters.
The beautiful The River Camp will be your home for the coming days. The sustainably built camp has only eight luxurious tents and delights with breathtaking views of Mount Kenya, while the Ngobit River flows quietly below. An ideal place to unwind and enjoy the special atmosphere of this region.
In the afternoon you head out on your first game drive in the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, where you can marvel at the region’s diverse wildlife.
Towards evening you return to your camp, where a delicious three-course meal awaits you.

Ol Pejeta Conservancy
Perhaps you would like to start the day early, drive out onto the wide plains and watch the sun rise behind Mt. Kenya? These are moments you will not forget in a hurry.
In this region you will find not only beautiful nature but also ideal conditions for a safari. Your game drive takes you through the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, which is home to some of Africa’s most vulnerable and endangered species.
The reserve is home to the largest population of black rhinos in Kenya and plays an important role in conserving this species. Grevy’s zebra, the beisa oryx and Jackson’s hartebeest also live here, all of which are considered endangered.
Together with a healthy elephant population and a considerable number of predators, including the rare African wild dog, the reserve offers everything needed for an unforgettable safari.
You have lunch at your accommodation. In the afternoon you can choose between another game drive or a visit to the chimpanzee sanctuary (optional).
The sanctuary serves as a refuge for rescued chimpanzees and is the only place in Kenya where you can see chimpanzees.
At the end of another eventful day, you return to your accommodation. By the campfire you can listen to the sounds of nature.

Your camp and its spectacular location give you the chance to shape your adventure entirely your own way. A wildlife-viewing drive with a local guide, a visit to the local anti-poaching unit that works with dogs, a visit to the lion tracking project or – for experienced riders – a ride out into nature in a predator-free zone – talk to the staff on site and arrange your preferred morning activity.
After a relaxed lunch at your accommodation, there is the option of a game drive in the afternoon. Instead of the game drive, you can also visit the Morani Information Centre, where you can see the last two northern white rhinos on our planet – a truly moving experience.
Or perhaps you fancy a night game drive to track down the shy animals of the area? Whatever you decide, today can only be a unique safari day.
Some activities are not included in the price and must be booked in advance. Please contact us about this.

Transfer by light aircraft
After a hearty breakfast you make your way to the airstrip, where your plane is already waiting, and board your flight to the Mara North Conservancy.
In this private conservation area, friendly faces await you and take you from the airstrip to your next accommodation, Elephant Pepper Camp.
The drive to your accommodation is already a small game drive in itself. The camp, which consists of just ten elegant tents in total, is located in a beautiful valley and offers the perfect conditions for an exclusive safari experience.
You can enjoy your lunch in the shade of the trees in the grounds of your accommodation. In the afternoon you get to know the region and its natural inhabitants on a game drive.
Later in the evening you can enjoy a delicious dinner prepared for you by Elephant Pepper Camp.
In the low season the flight from the Ol Pejeta Conservancy to the Mara North Conservancy may go via Nairobi.

Mara North Conservancy – Masai Mara Game Reserve
On safari, early risers are often rewarded the most. As the sun rises and the expanse of the savannah is bathed in light, you can marvel at the wildlife in front of you.
The Masai Mara is probably best known for the Great Migration, whose herds you can see today at the right time of year. Countless wildebeest and zebras travel from the Serengeti to the Masai Mara every year, following the rains in search of fresh grass.
In the Mara, however, you can enjoy outstanding wildlife viewing all year round, not just during the Great Migration. Elephants roam the open expanses as they have for thousands of years and predators stalk their prey.
After an eventful safari day with exciting game drives, you return to your camp. Later, as you sit by the campfire, you will surely have many new stories to tell.

If you would like to stretch your legs a little and gain a new perspective on your surroundings, a bush walk with a guide in the fresh morning air may be just the thing for you.
With the help of your trained guide, get to know not only the Big Five but also the small creatures that play such an important role in maintaining a healthy ecosystem.
When you return to your safari camp later, find a cosy corner to relax. Your camp has a unique location and it is not unusual for wildlife to wander past your “front door”.
In the afternoon you can go on another game drive or learn more about the Masai, their proud heritage and their customs.
The camp offers a visit to a nearby Masai village, which gives you the opportunity to better understand the way of life of this East African people.
Breakfast | Lunch | Dinner
Optional: On day 6, too, you have the option of visiting the Masai Mara Game Reserve. There you can enjoy spectacular balloon safaris. Please contact us regarding additional costs.

You are driven to the airstrip and your flight takes you back to Nairobi, from where you can continue your journey. We look forward to seeing you again soon!
